Ephesians 3:19 from the New Living Translation: "May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God."
You need to hear this: The secret to having the fullness of God is to know the love of God.
To know the love of God comes through experience.
You experience His love through salvation.
You experience His love through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
You experience His love through encounters with God.
You experience His love when His Word comes alive in you.
You experience His love when you operate in the gifts of the Spirit.
You experience His love when you draw into His presence.
You experience His love through worship.
You experience His love through prayer.
And every time you experience His love, you come into a greater knowledge of it. As you come into a greater knowledge then you enter into the fullness of God.
There is no other way to put it. We must be willing to draw into a deeper intimacy with the love of God. God wants you to go deeper in His love. He wants you to experience more. Why would we ever settle for less?
My prayer for you this weekend is that you will come into a greater awareness of His love. May you continue to go deeper into the fullness of God.
