Let's start Monday on the right foot. I want to go ahead and challenge your faith today. Mark 9:23 teaches us that ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE for one who BELIEVES! Do you believe that?
You might be saying, "Oh, but you don't know my circumstances." No I don't, but God does. Is there anything that can come into your life where God is going to slump back against His throne and say "I didn't expect that"? Of course not. Our God is in complete control at all times.
Then there are those "well meaning" believers that will tell you that they believe in the miracles of the Bible but aren't so sure that God still works that way today. As if somehow we have made such progression with the human race that we do not need divine intervention. If you are in a situation that requires faith in God then you ought to be encouraged. God has never failed at any time. All things are still possible to him who believes.
What about cancer? Believe!
Financial difficulty? Believe!
Family problems? Believe!
My son is off to war? Believe!
The lost in my family? Believe!
All things are possible to him who believes. When you read those words in the Bible you will find them in red print. Why? Because the printers of the Bible want to be sure that you see, read, and hear the words of Jesus. The promises of Jesus will not fail. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God does not change. If you have the faith to believe then God is able to work in and through all situations. Do you believe?
Matthew 19:26 teaches us that with God all things are possible. Let's do the math together:
With God all things are possible
+ all things are possible for one who believes = NO IMPOSSIBILITIES!
Doesn't that excite you? Man, it fires me up.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
We are more than conquerors through Christ.
All of these promises and more are available to those who can believe. Isn't it good to be a believer? Keep the faith today and throughout this week. Watch and see what God is able to do for and through you. BELIEVE!
